Dr. Rakesh Kumar

With a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering and over 10 years of professional experience, I have held diverse technical, leadership, and research-oriented roles across the IT industry. My experience includes serving as Senior Research Associate cum Engineering Manager at Cyber Care Pvt. Ltd.; Java Tech Lead at eCSPL, deployed at Jharkhand Police Headquarters; Senior Software Engineer at Walking Tree Technologies Pvt. Ltd.; Module Lead – Systems at Mphasis Ltd., deployed at Wells Fargo Bank; Team Leader – Technology at Hotelogix PTE; and currently, Senior Engineer at Wipro Ltd. I am also associated with Wipro’s Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) community.

Driven by a strong passion for computer science research and technological innovation, I have undertaken more than 50 research projects across different areas of computing. My academic and professional recognitions include honorary doctorate degrees from California University and the Cyber Security Council, Toronto, as well as distinctions such as the InSc Young Researcher Award 2020 and the EET CRS Global Top 50 Young Researcher Award 2023.
